What We Do

OFAF operates through a community-first development model. We identify local challenges, co-create solutions with community stakeholders, and deliver programmes that build skills, confidence, and long-term opportunity. Our strategy is anchored on:

Community participation and ownership

We work closely with communities to ensure programmes are locally driven, inclusive, and owned by the people they serve.

Practical, skills-based interventions

Our initiatives focus on hands-on skills that translate directly into livelihoods, income, and long-term self-reliance.

We track progress, measure impact, and remain accountable to our beneficiaries, partners, and supporters.

Programs and Initiatives

Education & Academic Excellence

We conduct school quiz competitions, implement learning support initiatives, and run student recognition and mentorship programs.

Youth Development & Leadership

We organize youth forums and mentorship sessions, provide education on life skills, leadership, and civic responsibility, and offer exposure to entrepreneurship and career pathways.

Skills Training & Entrepreneurship

We offer vocational training in trades such as baking, hairdressing, fashion, and related skills, provide tools and start-up equipment, and award graduation certificates to trainees.

Health & Community Wellbeing

We provide free community health screenings, offer health education on nutrition, lifestyle, and disease prevention, and ensure referral and follow-up support.
